After graduating in 2016 I began a quest to satisfy my product design curiosity. This curiosity has allowed me to experience a range of different product fields and learn design from completely different angles. My first position outside of college at Pensar Development, gave me the opportunity to work on multiple medical devices, consumer electronics, and get behind the scenes with big box clients. After that I had my hand at building my own consumer electronic product from the ground up, taking a sketch all the way to a production quality prototype. Finally my most recent position as an extended contractor with Dexcom allowed me again to experience the medical space with products that must have an unmatched sensitivity to human interaction.
Throughout these adventures I always take each opportunity I can to learn from the people around me. I've build life-long relationships from mentors who genuinely support me. Every interaction is a reminder to be grateful, they've given me a reliable eye for what it takes to execute on product development and bring tangible deliverables to the table. My goal is to continue bringing this wide skill set to client projects and help create powerful experiences. Whenever I become part of a team, or work with clients, I prioritize creating a partnership with a space of mutual respect. Open communication, honesty, and team cohesion are the foundations for strong design.
